he International Organization for Standardization is a worldwide organization dedicated to the commitment of quality. On August 30, 2011 PCG Machine became ISO 9001-2008 compliant.
Most of that process involved documenting procedures we had already been using and improving a few others to increase efficiencies. The ability to refer to a certified measurement standard is critical to our machining processes. We feel that our customers deserve our commitment to quality, and it was a positive decision to become ISO Compliant.
We operate under the methodology “Plan-Do-Check-Act,” which involves the following:
Plan: Establish the objectives and processes necessary to deliver results in accordance with customer requirements and the organization’s policies.
Do: Implement those processes toward achieving those objectives.
Check: Monitor and measure processes and products against policies, objectives, and requirements and report the results.
Act: Take actions to continually improve process performance.
Utilizing this quality management system allows us to:
